Wintertaling Attorneys & Civil-Law Notaries has been a member of the Legal Netlink Alliance, a network of independent, medium-sized law firms from around the world, since 2015.
Twice a year, two offices are invited to host the event in their respective cities. This coming Friday, June 29th, Wintertaling will have the honor of hosting the 2018 Summer Meeting. Delegations from around the world will participate in the event, offering a unique opportunity to strengthen ties within the network.The global network allows Wintertaling to serve clients worldwide.
The Summer Meeting kicks off on Friday, June 29th, at the Wintertaling office at Antonio Vivaldistraat 66 in Amsterdam. After drinks, guests will head to De Goudfazant restaurant in Amsterdam-Noord.
The guests will be accommodated at the Radisson Blu hotel, located in the city center. The meeting will also take place there on Saturday. Among other things, the new members from Madrid will be welcomed, and two guest speakers will be present. The first guest speaker is Thomas Beukers. Beukers is a legal advisor for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will briefly discuss the Brexit negotiations.
The second guest speaker is Merijn Tinga, a Dutch visual artist who, as a plastic soup surfer, takes action to raise awareness of the problems caused by litter. Wintertaling has supported the Plastic Soup Surfer initiative with pro bono legal and notarial advice since 2016.
After the meeting, guests will be transported by boat through Amsterdam's canal belt to the Museum van Loon. The gala dinner will be held in this beautiful residence.
The LNA Summer Meeting concludes on Sunday with a visit to the Hermitage Museum in Amsterdam. Afterward, all guests will depart for their home countries, marking the official end of the event.
