The annual Canal Parade took place on Saturday, August 4th, on the Amsterdam canals. For nine days, Amsterdam was the scene of Gay Pride.

Pride Amsterdam is a festival that celebrates being who you are and being able to love who you want. Yet, taboos still exist, with the number of boats representing a sport being limited during the parade. The KNRB (rowing federation) boat was the only official sports federation boat participating. Wintertaling supports the KNRB in this and hopes to encourage more sports federations to lift the taboo surrounding sports and LGBTQ+ people. For this reason, a Wintertaling delegation sailed on the KNRB boat during the weekend of August 4th and 5th, celebrating the theme "You are like a heROW.".
