Bas has been a lawyer within administrative law since 1986. In particular, he advises on disputes between contractors and clients, arbitration, construction defects, procurement disputes, architectural law, neighbourhood law and spatial administrative law.

Work experience/specialties

Voor zijn overstap naar Wintertaling was Bas partner bij Lexence.
From 2002 to 2014 Bas was a member of the council of the district council of Amsterdam Oost, of which the last year was also the chairman of the political group. During his council membership, he was a member of the Housing and Large Projects Committee.
Bas has completed the Grotius postgraduate programme in Environmental Law.
