Work experience/specialties
- Since graduating from the University of Amsterdam, Bas has worked as a lawyer in Amsterdam. Before joining Wintertaling, Bas was a partner at Lexence
- From 2002 to 2014 Bas was a member of the council of the district council of Amsterdam Oost, of which the last year was also the chairman of the political group. During his council membership, he was a member of the Housing and Large Projects Committee.
- Bas has completed the Grotius postgraduate programme in Environmental Law.

Bas specialises in civil and public construction law. He advises in particular on disputes between contractors and principals, arbitration, construction defects, procurement disputes, architect law, neighbour law and spatial administrative law.
