Floris assists contractors, clients, developers and consultants with regard to, for example, drafting, reviewing and explaining tender and development documents, (integrated) building contracts ('design & construct') and consultant contracts.
He also assists in the execution of building contracts and the supervision of construction projects. If necessary, he takes decisive action in (emergency) court proceedings or in arbitration regarding, for instance, tenders, disputes on additional and less work (VTW/AWR), construction and installation defects, design errors, construction time extension and payment disputes (attachment, lien).
Floris has extensive experience in the application and interpretation of the various standard terms and conditions used in construction, such as the Woningborg guarantee scheme, the DNR, the UAV 1989 and 2012 and the UAV-GC

- Floris attended the Private Construction Law specialisation course at the Institute for Construction Law in The Hague.
- He is a member of the Construction Lawyers Association and advises on construction law, procurement law, real estate law and contract law.
