On October 26-29, 2019, more than 350 members will visit Amsterdam for a three-day conference titled  “the Power of Storytelling” During the annual global conference at the Beurs van Berlage. Wintertaling's corporate & real estate partner Edo Smid is hosting the Real Estate Breakout Session, featuring a special presentation on the construction of the world's largest sea lock in IJmuiden, a high-level achievement of Dutch hydraulic engineering and technology. The presentation will be given by former Rijkswaterstaat professionals and Marc Bannenberg, as part of DBFMO (Design, Build, Finance, Maintain, Operate) contracts.
