Sale of Natudis to Udea

Udea has reached an agreement with Vroegop Ruhe & Co. to acquire Natudis Nederland, including its Belgian sister company Hagor and fresh produce supplier Kroon. The merger of these key players in the organic retail and wholesale landscape will create a Benelux player capable of successfully addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by the organic market.

Over the years, Natudis has developed into one of the largest distributors of organic and health food products in the Benelux. Deliveries in the Netherlands are handled from the Natudis distribution center in Harderwijk. Subsidiary Hagor serves customers in Belgium and Luxembourg. Natudis also owns the Natuurwinkel franchise. Amsterdam-based organic fresh produce supplier Kroon works closely with Natudis. Natudis, Kroon, and Hagor have been part of Vroegop Ruhe & Co since January 2014.
