Chief Financial Officer

Stef has been CFO since 2001. He develops strategic plans to improve financial performance and identify the company's future financial needs. Stef is known for creating an environment where entrepreneurial initiatives thrive and where success is defined by teamwork. 

Stef has extensive experience in strategy, finance and implementation. He knows how to mobilize people in a complex change process, focusing on promoting ownership, reducing complexity and employee development.

Other activities

  • Stef has served as CFO at many companies, both at an online pharmacy within a health app, and at an AI-driven company focused on turbine engine inspection.
  • Stef joined Wintertaling as CFO and board member effective July 2024.
  • Stef is Treasurer of both the Rivierenland Triathlon Foundation, and the Consent Foundation.
  • Stef is a member of Rabobank West Betuwe Member Council and member of Rabobank Gelderland South Sustainable Business Advisory Council.
  • Stef speaks English, French and German.

  • Stef has experience in the areas of M&A, Growth, Rationalising , Process and System changes, Valuation, Financing & Fundraising, Building Teams, Strategy and Execution. From start-ups to companies with a client reach of 600 million, both nationally and internationally.

  • Stef has experience as CEO, CFO and COO at companies with 0-1000+ employees.

  • Stef started in (international) marketing positions in Belgium, the Netherlands and France (DANONE). He made a transition to general management (MD). He then shifted to entrepreneurship (MBO Vitae). Currently he performs a mix of activities with a focus on Finance (CFO roles) and Entrepreneurship.

Education

Stef completed a master's degree in Finance and a master's degree in Business Valuation at TIAS Business School in Tilburg.
