Our partner Sandra Frommelt has recently for the JOR An annotation written for a ruling by the Amsterdam District Court (ECLI:NL:RBAMS:2022:6001). Sandra writes that this ruling may put an end to a practice that has developed in recent years, in which customers of bankrupt energy companies are forced to accept new terms and rates from the successor energy company. However, she also sees grounds for an appeal.
