For nine days, Amsterdam was the scene of Gay Pride.<\/p>\n<p>Pride Amsterdam is a festival that celebrates being who you are and being able to love who you want. Yet, taboos still exist, with the number of boats representing a sport being limited during the parade. The KNRB (rowing federation) boat was the only official sports federation boat participating. Wintertaling supports the KNRB in this and hopes to encourage more sports federations to lift the taboo surrounding sports and LGBTQ+ people.
