Stientje van Veldhoven, the State Secretary responsible for environmental policy, has reached an agreement on tackling small plastic bottles in litter. If businesses manage to recycle 90 percent of disposable bottles within two years, there will be no deposit on small plastic bottles. Otherwise, it will be introduced in 2021.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Merijn Tinga, &quot;the plastic soup surfer,&quot; has been working for years to finally put an end to all that plastic litter.
